Toolzy Video Downloader
A video downloader for Mac.
Save videos directly to your Mac. Pick the quality, queue multiple links, and download — all on your own machine. No accounts, no uploads, no ads.
Launching June 2026 on macOS.
Local by design.
Paste a video URL, choose a format, get the file. No account, nothing to configure, and nothing about what you download leaves your Mac.

Four screens, one flow: paste a link, pick a format, watch it download, open the file. That's the whole app.
Paste a link to start
Open the app, paste a URL, hit Fetch. Drag-drop, ⌘V, or the clipboard button — whatever's faster. The supported-sites strip lives at the bottom so you can see at a glance whether your link will work.
Paste a video link to begin.
Toolzy fetches video and audio from public web pages — locally, on your Mac. Nothing is sent to a server.
Pick the format you want
Real metadata: thumbnail, title, channel, duration, upload date. Choose from MP4 at 1080p / 720p / 480p, audio-only M4A, or MP3. The Save-to chip shows where the file will land before you hit Download.
Watch it work, locally
Live progress bar, real speed in MB/s, real ETA, downloaded-of-total — pulled directly from the file stream, not estimated. Pause anytime; cancel anytime. The download runs on your Mac with no relay servers in between.
Saved. Open in one click
When the file's verified, open it directly or jump straight to the folder in Finder. The full save path is shown so you always know where your downloads live.
